The City of Rimouski has designated three alternative parking lots for recreational vehicles, accessible free of charge during the summer, in order to control traffic on its territory. Available for a maximum of 24 hours (one night), the three parking lots will be able to accommodate up to 40 recreational vehicles of various sizes on a daily basis.

Designated parking lots and services offered

  • 20 spaces at the Sun Life Financial Coliseum (delineated area away from residences);
  • 10 spaces at Beausejour Park (Dumoulin Street parking lot);
  • 10 spaces at Beauséjour Park (de la Rivière Boulevard parking lot).

These spaces will help to alleviate overflow during periods of high traffic in the area. An interactive map is now available online to locate the three identified parking lots.

For more details, interested persons can obtain information on the City of Rimouski’s website in the “Alternative parking for recreational vehicles” section. The website is in french only.
