Bic National Park

Located 15 km west of downtown, this National Park measuring 33.2 km2 offers an impressive collection of small islands, reefs and cliffs sculpted by the sea over the centuries. You can observe grey and common seals among other things. In the summer:Discovery activities, hiking, bike rides (bike rentals available) guided hikes, minibus shuttles to the pic Champlain and kayak excursions. Lodging: Campings (semiserviced, serviced or primitive), yurts, Huttopia, tents-trailers. In the winter: Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, equipment rental and accomodation in yurts and tourist homes.

Canyon des Portes de l’Enfer

Discover our innovative activities like Les Portes d’Oniria, the enchanted trail, the geocaching trail : Rallye of the senses and the lighting of the Grand Sault waterfall in the evening. Visit the Hommage aux draveurs. A restoration service, a camping in the wilderness and a 7 km cycling trail are also offered.

Ferme “C’est la Faute des Biquettes” Bergerie

Visit to a farm: Nature lover and agricultural artisan, the owners offer a guided tour of their farm, sheeps, ostriches, lamas, horses, rabbits and goats on site.  Minimum 2 hours visit.

Shop: Delicatessen, ostrich, veal, lamb and pork products available.

Forêt de maître Corbeau, Parc de sentiers aériens

With 94 games of increasing levels of difficulty totaling over 5,500 feet of aerial courses, this treetop adventure is suited to players of all ages. A one of a kind experience under the supervision of experienced guides.

Parc Beauséjour

2 km Southwest of Tourist Information Centre. Located on the shores of the Rimouski River this park has a pavilion with services. Outdoor equipment rental : canoe, pedal-boat, kick sled, skates, innertubes, cross-country ski.

Parc du Mont-Saint-Louis

Located at 15 km west of the tourist information office, in the heart of Le Bic. Access to the park from the parking of Mount St-Louis primary school at 136, de la Grotte street, you have access to 57 stairs with a breathtaking view of the Bic islands, the village and its cross. The park also includes walking trails, a belvedere and a community garden.

2 km South of the Tourist Information Centre. Municipal park built on 2 levels with a brook running through it. The park holds hiking trails, belvederes, picnic areas and small farm animals. Discover a park landscaped like a magic forest !

Reford Gardens

Voted one of the wonders of Québec and ranked among Canada’s premier garden destinations, the Reford Gardens/Jardins de Métis are a verdant paradise on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. The gardens offer attractions for visitors of all ages – floral displays, art in the gardens, exhibitions, culinary experiences and the innovative installations of the International Garden Festival. Reford Gardens were created between 1926 and 1958 by Elsie Reford, a passionate gardener and plant lover. Visitors to this national historic site of more than 200 acres can admire the splendours of more than 3,000 species and varieties of native and exotic plants displayed in 15 gardens.
