Le phare de Pointe-au-Père, Lieu historique national du Canada

Climb the 128 steps of one of the tallest lighthouse in Canada. Learn about the difficulties of navigating the St. Lawrence, the role of the lighthouse in the history of navigation and the various sound signaling systems. New photographs exhibit entitled Dive Your History! 50 Years of Underwater Archeology at Parks Canada. The lighthouse and its station will be accessible free of charge this season as part of the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation

Musée des Sœurs de Notre-Dame-du-Saint-Rosaire

Site historique de La Maison Lamontagne

Visit the oldest house east of Quebec City, a half-timbered construction built around 1744. Discover its history, exceptional architectural style and different exhibits on domestic architecture and the life of 18th century peasants. Activities, free outdoor concerts on Sundays, picnic areas further allow visitors to appreciate the historic site. Marie-Agnès and Basile, the first owners, await you!

Site historique maritime de la Pointe-au-Père

Climb aboard the Onondaga submarine and dive into this fascinating world with an audio-guided visit. Discover the story of the Empress of Ireland, a passenger liner, from its construction to the day it sank in 1914. Experience the multimedia presentation to witness the atmosphere of that final fateful voyage! It also includes the visit of one of the highest lighthouse in Canada, which is free of charge this summer for Canada’s 150th anniversary.
